Youth Pathways also assists young people 13-19 years who are at risk of not completing their education through to final years, but provides more individual or one on one support.

Participants who are eligible will receive personalised assistance specifically directed to their needs. Participants will receive an assessment, assistance and ongoing support and guidance to help them overcome barriers to effective participation in education, training or employment service programmes.

This program is predominantly being delivered to the remoter regions including Kowanyama, Normanton, Richmond and Hughenden but also includes clients in the Mount Isa region.

Youth Pathways has very stringent targets and milestones, which have been successfully met in the short time this program has been operating under the subcontract arrangement.
