The PSS Programme is aimed at individuals with a disability or disabilities. Our qualified friendly staff provide both personal and group support and the service is DSQ (Disability Services Queensland) Accredited.

The Programme focuses on social and community integration and personal development.

Programme activites include;

• LIFESTYLE
  • Cooking, shopping, budgeting, goal setting
  • Working towards independence and decision making
  
  
  
• COMMUNITY ACCESS
  • Visits to events, work experiences, volunteering at major community events such as the Mount Isa Rodeo
  • General involvement in the community
  
  
  
• SOCIAL ACTIVITIES
  • Outings to lunch, dinner, Civic Centre Productions and expos
  • Day trips and picnics, personal leisure and recreation
  
  
  
• CLIENT MEETINGS
  • Designed to help clients make decisions about what programmes and activities they can participate in
  • Clients are encouraged to have input into all aspects of the service
• TRAINING
  • Literacy and Numeracy, basic computer skills and work experience options
  
  
  
• ACTIVITIES
  • Beading, jewellery making, pottery, art, swimming, bowling
  • Music, drama and many more - designed to develop fine motor skills
