IsaSKILLS board of governance operates through a dedicated set of quality policies and procedures that provide for roles and responsibilities of board members and their relationship and conduct of duties with activities of the organisation and the staff of the organisation. The board strives to meet the requirements of all appropriate legislative authorities that control the entity. The Board also strives to maximise the protection of its board members and staff through essential and appropriate private and public insurance covers.

The Board of isaSKILLS, through its directives and through its good governance principles, strives to maximise the services by being specialists in People Development and the good quality of the services to the client base. The isaSKILLS board members are proponents of the isaSKILLS quality system and, are inherently important key personnel in the monitoring of the quality system results each year. The isaSKILLS board supports the staff of the organisation in the service delivery through input into the development of quality initiatives, steering the organisation to deliver appropriate quality endorsed services, meeting of contract terms with the government(s) in a continuous improvement environment

The Board of isaSKILLS operates under a not for profit charitable basis and within the domain of the Australian Accounting Standards. The board aims to be a high performing not for profit organisation and uses solid financial performance as a key pillar of that initiative. The key principle of specialising in people development articulates that the organisation board and staff behave in a high performance contracting mode that ensures financial grounding is solid to enable continuity in supply of people development services. Financial viability is reported strongly and resourced well as an on going quality tool to support the delivery of services.

The Board of isaSKILLS has highly developed ethical principles that ensure that services are provided with quality, with value for money, with equal opportunity and with consideration of the public interest in the success of the organisation. All board members are elected from the public domain and retain skill sets and ethics that are a pillar to the ongoing success of isaSKILLS. Board members operate at meetings and in interaction with the staff and clients with high clarity, and are always transparent in their relationships with management and staff.
