How can Job Network help me find a job?
- you need only to register with one Job Network member.
- your Job Network member will prepare your resume based on your skills and qualifications
- your resume will be matched with JobSearch automatically
- design activities to meet your needs and available job opportunities
For our registered Jobseekers, we aim to:
- Secure paid positions in open employment that reflect job seeker career interests
- Provide pre and post placement services to ensure successful long term employment
- Promote the autonomy and rights of people with a disability or disabilities
If you have been unemployed more than 3 months and are receiving Intensive Support services we will also:
- assess your skills, experience and capabilities and will develop a Job Search Plan to help you get work
- help you improve your job search skills by giving you Job Search Training and extra support to help you prepare better job applications
- contact you regularly; at least every 3 months and more frequently if you have been unemployed more that 12 months.
Throughout your period of unemployment you can expect isaSKILLS to:
- provide access to job vacancy information and job search facilities and touch screen kiosks
- advise on job search skilss, career options and vocational employment programs
- give feedback on job interviews
- help you meet your income support obligations
